I have a few questions regarding the property market analysis tools:

1. If I would like to know the current demography at the area near legasi 1 and legasi 2 apartment by using the racial demographics tools, which area should I search? Wangsa Maju or SetiaWangsa? I am not so familiar with KL area.

2. Can I search the demography on smaller and more specified areas?

3. Can you please kindly advise me if I want to use the market analysis tools to do a research on a piece of land and what is the best development on the land?

Hello Violet,
The sub locations of the parliamentary constituency of Wangsa Maju would include Bdr Baru Wangsa Maju, Kg Bandar Dalam, Kg Bumi Hijau, Kg Lee Rubber, Kg Pasir, Kg Puah, Kg Puah Seberang, Kg Wira Jaya, Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tmn Bunga Raya, Tmn Datok Senu, Tmn Ibukota, Tmn Melati, Tmn P Ramlee & Tmn Setapak.

The sub locations of the parliamentary constituency of Setiawangsa would include Bkt Dinding, Hulu Kelang, Kg Baru Air Panas, Kg Pasir, Kg Relawan, Ladang Hawthornden, Setapak, Tasik Titiwangsa, Tmn Air Panas, Tmn Lembah Keramat, Tmn Setapak Jaya, Tmn Setiawangsa, Tmn Sri Keramat Tengah & Tmn Sri Rampai.

With Merdeka's map, I think you should be able to figure it out.

If you explain how you would normally do this, perhaps I could tell you whether the tools on this site would help answer this specific question.

Hi Merdeka2020 and site admin,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I actually found the location from google map as well. From the sub-locations, it seems that I should search Wangsa Maju but Taman Desa Melawati is not included as one of the sub-locations.

I know that Taman Desa Melawati is actually in Mukim Setapak. Setapak is stated as one of the sub-locations of Setia Wangsa. Argh....I am getting more and more confused~

Please kindly advise. Thanks. =D

Hi Site Admin,

1 more question on the racial demographics tool.

Is it correct if I search Wangsa Maju for Taman Desa Melawati and Setiawangsa for Kemensah Heights?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Violet,
We refer to the parliamentary constituency and not the land office boundaries for our racial demographics studies. They may not be the same as it is handled by 2 different government departments.

May I know your concern? Anyway, it is okay. I will just get the figures for both Setiawangsa and Wangsa Maju.

The percentage of Indians for SetiaWangsa should be 9.13% instead of 19.13%? Is it a typo error because the total percentage is more than 100% for Year 2008. Thanks.
